Summer Fashion – What to Wear to a Caribbean Fete

As we know, (in the US especially) the last week of May (better known as Memorial Weekend) kicks off summer festivities. New York City houses some of the best Caribbean parties and the Caribbean socialites will attend with their custom made threads or a nicely put together outfits. If you’re looking for some inspiration for your outfits or some shop names that you may not be familiar with yet, we’re here to help. We’ll provide a broad spectrum of sites for all different price ranges.

Some tips for those of you who may not be familiar with Caribbean parties – if it’s not a stush party, you’re going to fete HARD. We highly recommend wearing flats or chunky heels. Not only will you be palancing about the place but the flooring at most of the venues is not the best – and we don’t want the Mirage concrete to eat up your nice pumps 🙂

It’s the summer time, so shorts are always welcomed. Fetes typically range from straight bacchanal to a nice lime where you could wear something cute. It also depends on how hard you pump.
