Miami Carnival — Costumes, Fetes & More

09 Miami Carnival CLO 1013 JCD

Miami Carnival is now one of the most popular carnivals attended in the U.S — revelers fly in from all over the world, to take part in the festivities, and for very good reasons. Miami has a very strong Caribbean presence and it shows in the way the parties are organized, promoted and executed. You get of taste of Trinidad’s carnival for much less money.

With that being said, below is the list we anticipate throughout the summer months, where to stay, who to fete with and who to play mas with. Global Carnivalist only posts the fetes we know you would have ah time and get the most bang for your buck. [We will continue to update the fete list]. Several fetes are on competing days, (See Friday morning) so choose wisely. Check out our Carnival 101 post if you’re still a carnival virgin and need some tips! We talk about where to buy Carnival Boots, some of the most fun jouvert bands and more.
