Pronounced Zah-My-Kah, Xaymaca Carnival promises to bring us something new and something different that encapsulates the beauty of Jamaica.

Naturally, because my favorite designer, Sandra Hordatt, endorsed and designed for Xaymaca,  I had HIGH expectations. I have played mas with LehWeGoandSleek as well and have become used to the luxurious and quality frontline experience that they provide, so in my mind, Xaymaca could do no wrong; I had already been endorsing them without seeing a piece of fabric.

Boom, insert band launch. The costumes are AS AMAZING as I expected. The details, use of colors and fabric and even the backline options are gorgeous. The section Revolution by Karnival by Kandi is hands down my favorite. The pricing is also on par with what I believe the experience should cost a masquerader.
